AN ORDINANCE TO REENACT
MADE BY AND BETWEEN THE
ARKANSAS AND THE COUNTY
THE PURPOSE OF COMBININ,
TO RECEIVE LOWER PRICES
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY;
THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
OF PULASKI, ARKANSAS FOR
S COMMODITY NEEDS IN ORDER
BY QUANTITY PRICE QUOTATIONS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 5,799 of the Hard of Directors adopted
September 20, 1977 authorized the joint purchasing agreement between
the City of Little Rock and XulaskiCbunty for the purpose of combining
commodity needs in order to receive lower prices by quantity price quo-
tations; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution authorized the agreement to be reenacted
or terminated effective February 1, 1978; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to reenact said
Agreement and have such agreement become permanent pursuant to authority
of Act 742 of the General Assembly of Arkansas for 1977.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That said Interlocal Agreement made by and between
the City of Little Rock and Pulaski County is hereby reenacted and
such shall become permanent pursuant to authority of Act 742 of the
General Assembly of Arkansas for 1977.
SECTION 2. Inasmuch as the continuation of this said Agreement
will be advantageous by receiving lower prices through quantity
price quotations, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
