AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AND
MAKING SAME A PART OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, petitions were filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas by the owners of the hereinafter described lands,
praying that said lands be annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, on September 16, 1977 and November 21, 1977, the County
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas found that the petitions pertaining
to the lands described in subsections A & B respectively of Section 1
hereof were signed by a majority of the total number of real property
owners in said areas proposed to be annexed and by the owners of over
one -half of the acreage in said areas; that said lands are contiguous
and adjoining the present corporate limits of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; that accurate plats or maps of said lands had been filed
with and made a part of said petitons; that proper notice had been
given for the time and in the manner prescribed by law and that said
lands should be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, subject to the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors
of said city at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said orders of
annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has expired and no appeal
has been taken from said orders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous to and
adjoining the City of Little Rock be and the same are hereby accepted
as part of and annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock:
(A) A tract of land located in the NW4, Section 15,
T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and in
the SW4, Section 10, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
The NW4 of the NW4, Section 15, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas AND the SW4 of the SW4, Section 10,
T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas AND the NW4
of the SW4, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
EXCEPT the East 25.0 feet of the NW4, SW4, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas and EXCEPT a tract
of land described as follows:
Beginning at the NW corner of the NWT, SA, Section 10,
T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence
S 880 44' E, 327,90 feet; thence S 570 22' 15" W,
197.3 feet; thence S 030 24' W, 316.7 feet; thence
S 080 20' 05" W 503.5 feet; thence S 230 16' 22" W,
213.6 feet; thence N 870 17' 09" W 26.0 feet; thence
N 020 04' E, 1,123.60 feet to the point of beginning,
including all abutting and adjoining streets and
rights of way with the exception of Aldersgate Road.
A tract of land located in the N'k, Section 15, T -1 -N,
R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas more particularly
described as follows:
Commencing at the SE corner SW4, NEa, Section 15,
T -1 -N, R -13 -W, thence N 890 52' 45" W, 1877.60
feet to the point of beginning; thence N 890 52' 45"
W, 597.00 feet; thence N 00 07' E, 250.0 feet;
thence N 890 52' 45" W, 208.70 feet; thence N 00 07'
E, 2383.90 feet, thence S 890 28' E, 1371.9 feet
thence S 890 47' E, 296.76 feet, thence South 359.33
feet, thence S 370 30' W, 207.00 feet; thence S 410 15'
W, 352.00 feet; thence S 670 30' W, 325.00 feet; thence

W, 40.00 feet to the point of beginning, said tract
known as the Kensington Place -Phase II, Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas and said tract con-
taining 59.98 acres more or less, including all abutting
and adjoining streets and rights of way.
(B) Lot 30, Triangle Properties Industrial District in
Pulaski County, Arkansas; including rights of way
of all adjacent and abutting streets.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage.
