AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13,342 ESTABLISHING THE
CENTRAL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 (UNION STATION)
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, Section 5 of Ordinance No. 13,342 provided that Ann Aldridge, Paul H.
Dixon, David Kane, Ken Mitchell and James H. Nettles be appointed Commissioners
of the Central Business Improvement District No. 2 (Union Station) of the City of Little
Rock, A rkansas; and,
WHEREAS, the said named and appointed Commissioners have tendered their
resignations and resigned as Commissioners because of their continuing relationship
with one of the owners of the property located within the District; and,
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be more than two - thirds in value, as shown by the
last County assessment, of the owners of the property located within the District have
nominated the following persons to serve as Commissioners in the name, place and
stead of those Commissioners who have resigned, to -wit: Louis Rosen, Bart Roach,
Gene Lewis, Sr. , Dr. Rae Barnes and Steve Stoltz; and,
WHEREAS, the above named persons are owners of real property within the District
or officers or shareholders of a corporation owning real property within the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 13,342 adopted by this Board on the 20th day of
September, 1977, is hereby amended by striking Section 5 thereof in its entirety and by
substituting therefor a new Section 5 to read as follows:
"Section 5. Appointment of Commissioners. Louis Rosen, Bart Roach, Gene Lewis, Sr.,
Dr. Rae Barnes and Steve Stoltz, are hereby named Commissioners. "
