ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING
THE STREETS IN BLOCK 16 AND BLOCK 33, C.O. BRACK
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 22nd day of August ,
1977, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon portions
of streets in Block 16 and Block 33, C. 0. Brack Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plat of said
addition now appearing of record in Plat Book 1, Page 166, in the
Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however,
to any public easements in said streets:
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board of
Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice,
heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question and has
ascertained that the streets, hereinbefore described, have hereto-
fore been dedicated to the public use as streets, as herein des-
cribed; have not been actually used by the public generally for a
period of at least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat;
that all of the owners of the property abutting upon the alley to
be vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written
consent to such abandonment; and that public interests and welfare
will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of such streets;.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases,
vacates, and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of
the public generally, in and to the streets designated as
follows:
Taylor Street - From 32nd Street South to Milton Street,
more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the south-
east corner of Lot 6, Block 16, C.O. Brack Addition to the City
of Little Rock, hence North 287 feet to the northeast corner
of Lot 1, Block 16, hence East 40 feet, hence South 276.3 feet,
hence West 40 feet, back to the point of beginning.
Milton Street -
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 7,
Block 16, C.O. Brack Addition to the City of Little Rock, hence
North 780 East 457.35 feet, hence South 20 feet, hence Westerly
457.35 feet parallel with the first call above, hence North 20
feet, back to the point of beginning.
Brack Avenue -
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 8,
Block 33, C.O. Brack Addition to the City of Little Rock, hence
run North 780 East 200 feet, more or less, hence South 20 feet on
a line which runs South 100 East, hence Southwesterly 200 feet,
more or less, parallel with the first call above, hence Northwesterly
20 feet to the point of beginning, and being further described as
the avenue lying immediately south of, and adjacent to, the said
Lot 8, Block 33, C.O. Brack Addition to the City of Little Rock,
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in said
streets.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of Pulaski County and
recorded in the Deed Records of the County.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
