AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,500 FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND
TO BE USED FOR A MUNICIPAL COURT POSITION FOR
AN OFFICE ASSISTANT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, CETA funds were used to create an Office
Assistant Position for the First Offender Program in the
Little Rock Municipal Court, Criminal Division; and
WHEREAS, CETA funds are no longer available for the
Office Assistant Position for the First Offender Program in
the Little Rock Municipal Court, Criminal Division; and
WHEREAS, the Staff has recommended that the funds
necessary for the Office Assistant Position be appropriated
from the General Fund and this position be absorbed into the
City of Little Rock personnel system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. $7,500 is hereby appropriated from the
unappropriated balance of the General Fund to be used to
fund the position of Office Assistant for the First Offender
Proqram in the Little Rock Municipal Court, Criminal
Division.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
