AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WATER PIPE LINE IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 136 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, parties claiming to be the owners of a majority in assess-
ed value of real property located within the territory hereinafter des-
cribed have filed a petition praying that an improvement district be
established for the purposes hereinafter set out, and
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the
parties desiring to be heard, and has ascertained that said petition
was signed by a majority in assessed value of the owners of real property
within said territory, now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established an improvement district
embracing the following property, to -wit:
Located in Sections 10, 113, 121 133, 14 and 15, T -1 -S, R -13 -W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, described by metes and bounds as
follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the NEk SEk
said Section 10; thence East along the North line of said
NEk SEA4 Section 10 and continue East along the North line of
the NW'k SWk said Section 11 to the Northeast corner thereof;
thence South along the East line of said NWk SWk Section 11
to the Northwest corner of the SEk SWk said Section 11; thence
East along the North line of said SEk SWk Section 11 and con-
tinue East along the North line of the SWk SEk said Section 11
to thr Northeast corner thereof; thence South along the East
line of said SWJ SEk Section 11 to the Northwest corner of
the SWk SEk SEk said Section 11; thence East along the North
line of said SWk SEk SEk Section 11 to the Northeast corner
thereof; thence South along the East line of said SWk SEk SEk
Section 11 and continue South along the East line of the Wk

Southeast corner of Lot 23, Block 1, Deer Meadow Subdivision,
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence Northerly along
the East line of said Lot 23, the East lines of Lots 24 & 25,
Block 1, said Subdivision to a point on the West line of said
Ek SWk SWk; thence North along said West line to a point on
,the South line of Lot 29, Block 1, said Subdivision; thence
East along said South line to the Southeast corner thereof;

Northeast corner thereof; thence Northerly to the Southeast
corner of Lot 61, Block 3, said Subdivision; thence North.

of Lot 2, said Block 3; thence Northeasterly along the East
line of said Lot 2 to the Northeast corner thereof; thence
Southwesterly along the North line of said Lot 2 to the
Southwest corner of Lot 6, said Block 3; thence Northeaster-
ly along the West line of said Lot 6 to the Northwest corner
thereof; thence Northeasterly to the Southwest corner of Lot
9, said Block 3; thence North along the West line of said
Lot 9, to the Northwest corner thereof, said corner also
being the Northeast corner of Lot 10, said Block 3; thence
Southwesterly along the North line of said Lot 10 to the
Southeast corner of Lot 16, said Block 3; thence North along
the East line of said Lot 16, to the Northeast corner thereof;
thence West along the North line of said Lot 16 to a point on
the West line of the E'k SWk SWk said Section 12; thence North
along said West line to the Northwest corner thereof; thence
continue North along the West line of the Ek NWk SWk said
Section 12, 330 ft. to a point; thence East to the West line
of the NEk SWk said Section 12; thence North along the West
line of said NEk SWk Section 12 to the Northwest corner there-
of; thence East along the North line of said NEk SWk Section

Section 12 to the Northeast corner thereof; thence South along

North right of way line of the CRI&P Railway; thence South-
westerly along said North right of way line to the intersec-
tion of the South line of the SEk SEk said Section 15; thence
West along the South line of said SEk SEk Section 15 to the
Southwest corner thereof; thence North along the West line of
said SEk SEk Section 15 and continue North along the West
lines of the NEk SEk, SEk NEk, NEk NEk said Section 15 and
continue North along the West lines of the SEk SE'k, NEk SEk
said Section 10 to the point of beginning, containing 1057
acres, more or less.
for the purposes of constructing within the district a water pipe line
distribution system to serve the inhabitants of property in the district,
now or hereafter, located in the corporate limits of Little Rock, and
construct:inq a water pipe line beyond t.hu boundaries of the district, if
necessary, to make the desired connection with the water distribution
system of Little Rock, Arkansas; said purposes to be accomplished in
the manner and of the materials that the commissioners of the district
shall deem to be in the best interests of the district, and the cost
thereof to be assessed upon the real property above described accord-
ing to the benefits received.
Said district shall be known as "Water Pipe Line Improvement
District No. 136 of Little Rock, Arkansas," and J. F. Kellar, Claude
Brasseale, Jr., and Charlotte M. Mosier, who are owners of real property
in said district, are hereby named commissioners and shall compose the
Board of Improvement for said district.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
