ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND
CLOSING CERTAIN STREETS AND ALLEYS IN UNION
DEPOT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board
of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the
5th day of August
, 1980, asking the Board of
Directors to vacate and abandon certain streets and alleys
in Union Depot Addition to the City of Little Rock, more
particularly described herein, and as designated on the plat
of said Addition now appearing of record on Plat Book 1,
Pages 145 and 434, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public easements
in said streets /alleys; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the
Board of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in
the notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the
question and has ascertained that the streets and alleys
hereinafter described, have heretofore been dedicated to the
public use as streets and alleys, as herein described; are
not needed for corporate purposes; that all of the owners of
the property abutting upon the streets and alleys to be
vacated have filed with the Board of Directors their written
welfare will not be adversely affected by the abandonment of
such streets and alleys;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together
with the rights of the public generally, in and to the
streets and alleys designated as follows:

A. That portion of Wolfe Street extending from
the South line of West Markham Street to the South line of
the alley lying between Blocks 6 and 8, UNION DEPOT ADDITION.
B. That portion of Second Street from the West
line of Lot 6, Block 5, UNION DEPOT ADDITION east to the
West line of Wolfe Street.
C. That portion of the alley between Blocks 6 and
8, UNION DEPOT ADDITION, from Wolfe Street to the West line
of Lot 4, Block 6, UNION DEPOT ADDITION, extended South to
the West line of Lot 3, Block 8.
subject, however, to any public utility easements located in
said streets and alleys.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the
Recorded of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records
of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and
be -in force from and after its passage.
