AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO PROCEED WITH THE PURCHASE OF LAND TO BE
USED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A FIRE STATION
IN THE I -430 AREA; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, funds have already been appropriated for the
construction of a fire station and the purchase of land for
a fire station in the I -430 area; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is desirable
for the City Manager to proceed with the purchase of land
for the construction of a fire station in the I -430 area at
the present time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
SECTION I. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
proceed with the purchase of land to be used for
construction of a fire station in the I -430 area, funds for
which have already been appropriated.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
