AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
TAXICAB OPERATOR PERMITS AND THE DENIAL OF
ONE APPLICATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, applications have been received from three
persons for taxicab operator permits; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the applications
on August 28, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended issuance of permits
to Mr. C.D. Heflin and Mr. Kenneth Britt; and
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended denial of the
application of Mr. Willie Swain based on the record compiled
in the investigation and public hearing on his application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. The issuance of taxicab operator permits
to Mr. C.D. Heflin and Mr. Kenneth Britt is hereby
authorized.
SECTION II. The denial of a taxicab operator permit to
Mr. Willie Swain is hereby authorized.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
