AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY'S
OFFICE TO PROCEED TO ACQUIRE PARCEL NUMBERS
P -31 AND P -32 REQUIRED FOR A RIGHT -OF -WAY
FOR THE BLOUNT ROAD PROJECT BY CONDEMNATION
PROCEEDINGS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City's Real Estate Officer has not been
able to purchase parcels P -31 and P -32 required for
right -of -way for the Blount Road Project; and
WHEREAS, the staff has recommended that the Board
authorize the acquisition of the above described parcels by
condemnation in order that the project can proceed.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section I. The City Attorney's Office is hereby
authorized to acquire parcel numbers P -31 and P -32 by
condemnation proceedings.
Section II. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
