AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13,835 TO CORRECT TYPOGRAPHICAL
ERRORS IN AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AND MAKING SAME APART OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13,835 as passed on June 17, 1980, by
the Little Rock City Board of Directors, contained several typo-
graphical errors, this Ordinance is now passed as an amendment for
the purpose of correcting those errors: and
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of Pulaski
County, Arkansas by the owners of the hereinafter described lands
praying that said lands be annexed to and made a part of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas: and
WHEREAS, on May 14, 1980, the County Court of Pulaski County,
Arkansas found that the petition was signed by a majority of the
total number of real property owners in said area proposed to be
annexed and by the owners of more than one -half of the acreage of
said area; that said lands are contiguous and adjoining the present
corporate limits of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an
accurate map of said lands had been filed with and made a. part of
said petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in
the manner prescribed by law; and that all things pertaining theteto
had been done in the manner prescribed by law and that said lands
should be annexed to and made a part of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, subject to acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of
said city at the proper time as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said Order of
Annexation made by the Pulaski County Court has expired and no appeal
has been taken from said Order.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous to and
adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas be and same are hereby
accepted as part of and annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; to -wit:

NORTH TRACT: Part of Section 17 and part of the east half of
Section 18, all in T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas and
being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the
centerline of Fourche Bayou and the south line of the SW4, SE4,
Section 17, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, said point
being on the present city limits of Little Rock, Arkansas as
established by Ordinance No. 12,406; thence west along the south
lines of the SWk, SEk, the SEk, SW4, and the SW4, SWk to a point
on the south line of SWk, SW4, that is on the west right of way
line of Bayard Street extended south from Sander's Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence north along the west
right of way line of Bayard Street to a point on the south line
of the north three fourths of the N2, SW4, SW4; thence west along
the south line of the north three fourths of the N2, SW4, SW4 to
the west line of the SW4, SW4; thence north along the west line of
the SW4, SW4, and the west line of the NW4, SWk to a point on the
north line of the south three fourths of the S2, NW-14, SW4; thence
east along the north line of the south three fourths of the S2, NW-14,
SW4 to the east line of the NW4, SW4; thence north along the east
line of the NW4, SW4 to a point that is 323.8' south of the north
east corner of the NW4, SW4; thence east 550' to a point that is
323.8' south of the north line of the NE-4, SW4; thence north 323.8'
to a point on the north line of the NE4, SW4, said point being 550'
east of the northwest corner of the NE4, SW4; thence north 151.4'
to a point that is 550' east of the west line of the SE-14, NWk;
thence west 550' to a point on the west line of the SEk, NWk, that
is 151.4' north of the southwest corner of the SE-L4, NWk; thence west

thence west 300' to a point that is 362.6' north of the south
line of the SE4, NE4, Section 18, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas; thence south 362.6' to the south line of the SE-4, NE-14 to
a point that is 300' west of the southeast corner of the SE-14-,W4;
thence west along the south line of the SEk, NE-14, for 340' more or
less to a point, said point being the intersection of the south line
of the SEk, NE4 with the west line of what was formerly platted as
Block "2 ", College Park Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
as extended north; thence south along the west line of said Block "2"
as extended to a point on the northeasterly right of way line of
Jones Street as relocated; thence in a northwesterly and northerly
direction along the northeasterly and easterly right of way line of
Jones Street as relocated to a point in the centerline of Fourche
Creek; thence easterly along the meanders of the centerline of
Fourche Creek for approximately 5630' to its junction with the center-
line of Fourche Bayou; thence southerly along the meanders of the
centerline of Fourche Bayou for approximately 4231' to its point of
intersection with the south line of the SWk, SEk, Section 17, T -1 -N,
R -11 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas and the point of beginning containing
329.6 acres more or less, LESS AND EXCEPT that part described as ALL
of Blocks 1, 4, and 5 of Sander's Addition to the City of Little Rock,
in Pulaski County, Arkansas, containing 12.19 acres, more or less,
leaving a total of 317.41 acres, more or less.

described as follows:
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection of the
centerline of Fourche Bayou and the north line of the NW4, NEk,
Section 20, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, said point
being on the present city limits of Little Rock, Arkansas as
established by Ordinance No. 12,406; thence southerly and westerly
along the meanders of the centerline of Fourche Bayou, being the
present city limits of Little Rock, Arkansas, to its intersection
with the west line of the NW4, NE4, Section 20, T -1 -N, R -11 -W;
thence north along the west line of the NWk, NE-1-4, Section 20, to its
intersection with the north bank of Fourche Bayou; thence in a
generally southerly and westerly direction along the meanders of
the north bank of Fourche Bayou as it crosses the NW4, Section 20,
