AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN PROPERTIES TO THE
CENTRAL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER TWO
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE
CENTRAL BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NUMBER TWO
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the City Clerk of Little Rock,
Arkansas by the owners of the hereinafter described properties praying
that said properties be annexed to and made a part of the Central Busi-
ness Improvement District Number Two of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas: and
WHEREAS, on August. 19 , 19 80, the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas found that the petition was signed by 100%
of the real property owners in said area proposed to be annexed and by
the owners of 100% of the acreage of said area; that said lands are
contiguous and adjoining the existing boundaries of the Central Business
Improvement District Number Two of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas;
than an accurate map of said lands had been filed with and made a part
of said petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in
the mariner prescribed by law; and that all things pertaining thereto had
been done in the manner prescribed by law and that said lands should be
annexed to and made a part of the Central Business Improvement District
Number TWo of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to acceptance
of same by the Board of Directors of said city at the proper time as
provided by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The following described lands contiguous to and
adjoining the Central Business Improvement District Number Two of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas be and same are hereby accepted as part of
and annexed to and made a part of the Central Business Improvement
District Number Two of the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkan-
sas; to wit:

Lots 3- 4- 5- 6- 7- 8 -9 -10, Block 340, Original
City of Little Rock, Arkansas
and
Lots 1- 2- 3- 4 -5 -6, Cherry's Subdivision of
Block 341, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas
and
North half of Lot 7, Cherry's Subdivision of
Block 341, Original City of Little Rock,
Arkansas
and
Lots 7 -8 -9, Block 364, Original City of
Little Rock, Arkansas being the South half of
Fractional Block 364
and
Lots 9 -10 -11 and part of Lot 8, Block 1, more
particularly described as follows: Beginning
at Northeast corner of said Lot 8; thence run
South to the Southeast corner of said Lot;
thence West 25 feet; thence North parallel to
the East line of said Lot 8 to the South line
of tract deeded to St. Louis, Iron Mountain
and Southern Railway by Deed recorded in Deed
Record 6 page 790; thence run Northeasterly
to the point of beginning, all in Deaf Mute
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
and
All public rights -of way adjacent to the
above described lands.
SECTION 2. 'his Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
