AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ANNUAL LICENSE
CHARGE FOR WHOLESALE AND RETAIL LIQUOR
DEALERS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, under state statute a municipality in Arkansas is
authorized to charge one half of the amount charged by
the state for an annual liquor license; and
WHEREAS, the state statute which establishes a state
liquor license fee has been amended to establish the state
license for liquor dealers at $1,000.00 for wholesale liquor
dealers and $500.00 for retail liquor dealers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The annual license charge for liquor dealers
is hereby amended as follows:
Wholesale liquor dealer . . . $500.00
Retail liquor dealer . . . . $250.00
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
