AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 13719,
BEING THE MASTER STREET PLAN OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
SECTION 1. That the first paragraph of Section 5.
Setbacks be amended to include an additional paragraph and
read as follows:
Section 5. Setbacks
Upon submission of a building permit request,
the Master Street Plan shall be consulted.
If the proposed structure is adjacent to a
facility noted and described on said plan,
proper setback shall be provided. Setback as
required will be measured from the centerline
of the established right -of -way except in
those areas where the street as constructed
deviates from the established right -of -way
line, in which case the setback will be
measured from the centerline of the existing
pavement.
In those instances where all street
improvements and right -of -way are in place or
have been assured by application of other
City ordinances and regulations, the
provisions of this section shall not apply.
The Planning Commission shall be designated
as the reviewing body for purposes of hearing
requests for variance from this section.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
