ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, VACATING AND CLOSING THAT
PORTION OF NORTH STATE STREET BETWEEN BLOCKS 181
AND 183 OF THE ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK LYING
94.8' SOUTH OF THE SAID STREET'S DEAD END ON THE
MISSOURI PACIFIC RIGHT -OF -WAY.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the 10th
Day of January 1980, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon that portion of North State Street 94.5' South
of its Dead End on the Missouri Pacific Right -of -Way, and
lying between Blocks 181 and 183 of the Original City of
Little Rock, as designated on the plat now appearing of record
in Deed Book "L ", Page 490, in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public
easements in said street; and
WHEREAS, after due notices as required by law, the Board
of Directors has, at the time and place mentioned in the
notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard on the question
and has ascertained that the portion of the said street herein -
above described, has heretofore been dedicated to the public use
as a street; has not actually been used by the public generally
for a period of at least five (_5) ;ears subsequent to the filing
of the plat; that all of the owners of the property abutting
upon the said portion of the street to be vacated have filed
with the Board of Directors their written consent to such aban.

affected by the abandonment of such portion of said street.

Section 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified
by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County and recorded in the Deed Records of the
County.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
