8 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, a request was made to abandon a platted ten (10) -foot path between Lots 186 and 187,
Prospect Terrace Addition, and walkway easements in Lots 1 and 2, Villareal's Replat of Lots 186, 187
and 188, Prospect Terrace Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to the City's general
police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104; and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that the abandonment of the footpath and walkway easements
will not have an adverse impact on the adjacent property owners nor the local traffic, as they were never
used by the public, except as otherwise noted below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby releases, vacates, and abandons a platted (10) -foot path
between Lots 186 and 187, Prospect Terrace Addition, and walkway easements in Lots 1 and 2,
Villareal's Replat of Lots 186, 187 and 188, Prospect Terrace Addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas.
Section 2. The City specifically reserves any required public utility and drainage easements.
Section 3. A copy of this ordinance, duly certified by the City Clerk, shall be filed in the real estate
records of the recorder of the Circuit Clerk in ex officio recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part
of the ordinance.
Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are
inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the ext�r►s'idR�t��istency.
