8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF y
9 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
10 Section 1. That the zone classification of the following property be and is hereby changed as
11 indicated:
12 Z -8774 - Described as A PART OF TRACTS 28 AND 29, Unit One of Independence
13 Farms Subdivision (being a part of Section 1, T -1 -N, R -14 -W and Section 36, T -2 -N, R-
14 14 -W) and part of the NW 'A NW '/<, Section 1, T -1 -N, R -14 -W, Pulaski County,
15 Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the NW corner of
16 said Section 1, (also point being a corner of Tract 28, Unit One of Independence Farms
17 Subdivision); thence N86 043'23 "W, along the South line of said Section 36, 28.19 feet to
18 the SW corner of said Section 36; thence N 1 01602" E, along the West line of said
19 Section 36 and the west line of said Tract 28, 154.72 feet to the South right -of -way line
20 of Kanis Road; thence the following bearings and distances along the south right -of -way
21 line: S86 142'28" E, 141 feet; S 3 016'47" W, 10 feet; S86 042'58" E, 159.13 feet;
22 S75 040'28" E, 141.17 feet to a point on the West right -of -way of Edswood Road; thence
23 S1 051'04" W, along said West right -of -way line, 101.05 feet to a point on the Section
24 line between said Section 36 and 1; thence SO1 °50'25" W along the West right -of -way of
25 Edswood Road, 442.49 feet; thence N89 002'47" W, 405.04 feet to a point on west
26 section line of said Section 1; thence N 1 028'07" E, along the said West section line,
27 442.46 feet to the point of beginning, containing 5.5 acres, more or less: From R -2,
28 Single- Family District, to C -3, General Commercial District, (southwest corner of Kanis
29 Road and Edswood Road).
30 Section 2. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little
31 Rock and designated district map be and is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to
32 affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.

I Section 3. That the ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days after the date of its
2 passage and approval.
3 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
4 word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
5 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and
6 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
7 ordinance.
8 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
9 with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
