'WHEPYAS, The United States Public Health Service and the State Board
nf Health are endeavoring to control venereal diseases, and
WHEREAS, ThP selective draft wid a tentative survey already made in
this State reveal the fact that the disease is prevalent throughout the
Stag, including the rural districts, and

Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED That the City Council of Little Rock, ,
Xan.sas, hereby endorses this movement and r.ledges its full support tc
j he Jnited States Public Health Service and the State Board of Health in

this commendable undertaking, and farther pledges its active cc. operation
with all health and police authorities in the suppression of prostitution;
and
Be It Further Resrlved, That a copy of these resolutions be forwarded
tc the United States Public Health Service, at Washington, D. C. and the
State Board Of Health, at Little Rock, Arkansas.
