1042u i r .s R E S O L U T I O N NO IOC Whereas, the following described buildings have become unsafe, unsightly, unsanitary, obnoxious and detrimental to the public safety, health and welfare and, Whereas, said buildings should be removed at once on account of their condition, Now therefore, BE IT RESOL=E BY TILj CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE RO CK, ARK, s That, the following described buildings and structures, to- IIY i t: - the two story brick building.at 212 to -20 North Cross Street, the sa.ie being dilapidated, unsightly and unsafe, the building at 1407 ;lest Sixth St., the same being in the same condition and also unsanitary, the house at 513 Cumberland, the same being in very bad con- dition, the barn at the rear of the north east corner of Fifth and Commerce Streets, which faces Com: -:erce Street, the same being in very bad shape, the old building on the south .rest corner of Second and Rock streets, used partly as a restaurant and partly to store old pa-. -)ers etc, the same being a fire trap, the old fr<,,me house in the rear of 315 West Seoond Street, the same being unsanitary, unsightly and a fire trap, eight buildings, four of which face Spring Street, and four in the rear of the four houses facing Spring Street, all being between Fifth and Sixth Stree -s. These ei ;ht houses, four on Spring Street and the four back on the rear of the lots are very unsanitary, very unsightly and dilapidated and fire traps, are and the same are hereby declared to be nuisances. The Chief of Police is hereby instructed to immediately notify the last record owner, as apy)ears from the record, or the agent for said property, if one can be found, to, within ten days from the date of the service of said notice upon such owner or agent, raze or remove said buildings and _place said premises in safe, sightly and sanitl ry condition. F If said owner or agent shall refuse or fail to comply with such notice within Said period, the Chief of Police shall ad- vertise forbids for the removal of said buildings and cleaning up said premises, and the Board of Public Affairs concurring therein, shall let a contract therefor.
