Whereas, contract was made by the Oakland Cemetery Board
with the Southwestern :Iausoleum Company for the erection of a
mausoleum in Oakland Cemetery, under which contract a mausoleum
was erected, and, under authority of this Council, the Mayor and
City Clerk, as President and Secretary of the Board of Public
Affairs, upon October 7, 1919, executed the City's deed, convey-
ing to the Southwestern Mausoleum Company a tract 107 feet long
by 32 feet wide, in Block C of Oakland Cemetery; and,
Whereas, subsequent to the consideration for said transac-
tion being conveyed to the Oakland Cemetery Board, it has been
discovered that through mutual mistake the conveyance to the
Southwestern Mausoleum Company was a tract in Block C, when it
should have been a tract in Block G; and,
71her eas , to correct said error, the Mayor and City Clerk,
as President and Secretary of the Board of Public Affairs, have,
on behalf of the City, executed a correcting deed; Now, Therefore:
BE IT RESOLVED BY TIL-1 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.:
That the action of the Board of Public Affairs, the ilayor
and the City Clerk, in executing the deed dated February 17, 1922,
and said deed, are hereby ratified in each and every respect, and
their action is made the act of this Council.
