that portion of the improvement from Ninth and Ivie.in Streets to Twenty
First and Barber .venue and not paving such portion of the streets and
road as originally planned, and

That it is the sense of this council and of the neople
represented by the aldermen of this City that the above portion of the
streets along the original route should be paved as contemplated sor-e
time bock in as much as necessity therefor appears great, the cost far
less than the or7e.niz ation of a special i provenient district which under
present circumstances could hardly be formed and for the further reason
that :x, the city as a whole paying .a part of, the taxes for the im-
provement, it is reasonable to suppose that such parts of the city streets
along the route as originally planned and upon which the assessments
were based should be �aved�,�,..,
