1053RESOLUTION ITO, 1053.
WHEREAS, An all wise providence has seen fit to
remove from our midst all that was mortal of our fellow towns-
man and respected citizen, Charles 7. Martin;
11H.EM3AS, He had during his lifetime held many
planes of trust and confidence through the gift of the people
of this County and City,
WHEREAS, He held these trurts inviolate at all
times retaining the confidence of his fellow man;
"ITTEREAS, He was, when this City was in its infancy
and when it needed a wise and guiding hand to conduct the Ship
of State, a member of this City Council, sitting from the
Second 77ard;
TILEREFORE 3-:T IT RESOL7 ED, That out of respect for
his sterling qualities as a man and citizen and his honesty and
integrity as an officer of the City and County, we extend to his
family in this hour of their bereavement our sincere sympathy,
BE IT FURTHER R;TSOLVE'D, That these resolutions
be spr6ad at large upon the records of this Council and a copy
be sent his family.
