P" �.ansas River has been completed and no provision has
been made for street rail_-rray service between Little
Rock and North Little rock; and,
rifREAS, the Main Street bride is now in course
of construction, and it is vital to the interests of
the Cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock, and to
the property owners who are being assessed for the con-
struction of said bridges, that provision should be
made for such street railway service at the least pos-
sible cost to the public; therefore, BF IT
RESOLVED, That the Mayor and the Chairman of
the Utilities Committee be and they are appointed a
special committee of this Council to confer with the
Broadway -Main :street ?ridge Corunissioners and the of-
ficers of the Intercity Terminal Railway Company with
the view of providing such street railway service,
and for the immediate transfer of passengers between
the lines of the Intercity Terminal Railway Company
dnd the Arkansas Central Power Company.
