RESOLUTION NO. 1207
WHEREAS, Lawrence H. Bradley was for more than
twelve years an honored and useful member of the Council of
the City of Little Rock, voluntarily retiring therefrom in
April, 1928; and
WHEREAS, an Allwise Providence has seen fit to
summon him from his great field of usefulness, his death
occur* ng at his home, 516 North Oak Street, about 5 :00 P. M.,
August 5, 1928; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CI`T'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
That in the death of Lawrence H. Bradley every
member of this Council has lost a loved friend, one who through
years of association, by his many genial, lovable dualities,
sterling manhood and faithful discharge of duty, had won for
himself the esteem and affection of all; that the City. of Littl(
Rock has suffered an irreparable loss in this citizen of
irreproachable character, who was ever ready to lend himself
untiringly to aid of worthy civic endeavors; and his family
have lost a devoted husband and kind father, one whose
honorable life should be an inspiration and thus sustain and
comfort them.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That we extend to the
bereaved family our sincere sympathy and that.we instruct the
City Clerk to spread these resolutions upon the records of the
Council and transmit a copy, under seal of our City, to Mrs.
Bradley and family.
