1216RESOLUTION NO. 1216.
On Saturday, January 26, 1929, at his residence
in Seattle, , ;ash., in his seventy -fifth year HENRY OSCAR MOYER
breathed his last, and his spirit returned to its Maker, after
a well -spent life, ri_;e in years and rich in experience - a
life spent in service to his fellow man, his Stste and his
Nation. Left to mourn this husband and father are his
beloved wife for more than half a century, a daughter, Mrs.
Adge Allen, also of Seattle, and two sons, Charles E. foyer,
Ar:ayor of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Robert H. coyer, of
Bothell, Wash. Doubtless those who mourn are comforted
to solve extent by the memory of his long and well -spent life -
a, oreeious heritage indeed.
Since in His infinite wisdom it has pleased
our Heavenly Father to call from this life this worthy citizen
`Therefore Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock, Ark., That we extend to Mrs. x'.oyer (whom the
majority of the members of the Council met during her visit to
Little Rock three years ago), to i4ayor Chas. E. Moyer and to the
other members of the family our sincere sympathy in their
bereavement, and that as a further mark of our affection and
esteem for :mayor Chas. L. coyer and his mother and as a
tribute to the memory of a good rnan who has passed to his
eternal reward, the City Clerk is instructed to place this
resolution upon the records of this Council and furnish copies
of same to each member of the family under signature of
Alderman John H. Tuohey as acting Tiayor, attested by the
City Clerk.
