1218. RESOLUTIOii NO. � WHEREAS, Alderman Bernard T. Hoff, who has faithfully served the Eighth Ward for the past several years, has, by reason of other duties, offered his resignation as such alderman, same to be effective on and after April 8, 1929; and WHEREAS, The law prescribes that, when a. vacancy occurs in the office of alderman, said vacancy shall be filled, for the unexpired term, by a special election; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COU 1CIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Tna.t the office of alderman of the Eighth Ward be declared vacant on and after April 6, 1929, and to fill said vacancy a special election be arid is hereby ordered, to be held at the regular pollinc: places in the various wards of the City of Little Rock on the 2nd day of April, 1929: That due notice of said election shall be given by proclamation, issued under the hands of the Mayor and City Clerk, and published in sore daily newspaper in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; said proclamation to be made not less than ten (10) days prior to the holdinV of such election.
