7.'Rrr1S a suit for damages against the City of
Little Rock- is now pending in the Pulaski circuit vourt by
reason of the taking possession for airport purposes by said
city of certain lands adjacent to the Little Rock Airport, and
7MREAS said lands were abandoned by said city after
having made certain alterations in the lands and improvements
thereon, and
WHEREAS the owners of said lands have agreed that
the dispute, including the amount of damages, if any, to which
they are entitled, shall be settled by arbitration, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor is hereby authorized
and directed to enter into an agreement of arbitration with said
owners wherein the award or finding of said Arbitration Com-
mittee shall be final and shall be binding upon both parties
to said agreement.
