12814 RESOLUTION NO. 1281. WHEREAS the Missouri Pacific Railway Company has presented to the Little Rock City Councilfor its approval, blue - prints of the proposed viaduct to be erected by said company on East Sixth Street, now therefore BE IT RESOLVED that the plans embodied in blue -print No. 3 are hereby approved with the exception that the amount of clearance between the lowest part of the viaduct and the present street level be increased from thirteen (13) feet as shorn upon said plans, to thirteen (13) feet ten (10) inches . over said street, and further that the clear spar, of thirty (30) feet as shorn on said blue -print be embodied in said plans.. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that East Sixth Street be closed at the place of construction for such a time as shall be necessary for said construction work and the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to close said street at the request of said company, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that proper steps be taken by the City Council to close, upon completion of said viaduct, the street immediately east of and running parallel with the railroad track and just south of sixth street. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Engineer are hereby empowered to approve completed plans for proposed viaduct when prepared and submitted. ADOPTED: January 23, 1933 1 APPROVER , ; MAYOR
