RESOLUTION NO. 1296
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Little Rock that the B6a.rd of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and directed to advertise for bids for and let a
contract for the purchase of fire hose of the specifications
and in the quantities hereinafter named, to —wit:
10,000 feet 221 cotton hose, rubber lined,
to weigh not less than 64 pounds to each
50 ft. section, with rocker lug couplings
attached.
1,500 feet 31 cotton hose, rubber lined the
weight comparatively increased over the 221
hose.
Both size hose to be multiple woven three ply or
double jacket, white, or wax and gum treated, the latter to
be equivalent in strength to the multiple woven, 3 ply. All
hose to be delivered in fifty foot sections eq_uiped with
rocker lug couplings of a good heavy type brass, 211 in size
^rith tree National Stza�dard Thread, and hose to stand water
pt essure of 300 lbs to square inch.

let a contract for the purchase of fire hose of the specifi-
cations and in the quantities hereinafter named, to -wit:

lined, to weigh not less than 64 pounds
to each 50 ft. section, with rocker lug
couplings attached.
