1301RESOLUTION NO. 1301
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is hampered by
banking restrictions in the making of its usual financial
arrangements, after paying off an old indebtedness of more
than $59,000 incurred in 1925, and it is essential that current
payrolls of the Fire and Police Departments be met;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Little Rock, that the sum of $17,000 be borrowed
from the Automobile Fund and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to draw the City's warrant for such
sum payable to G.L. Alexander, City Treasurer, and to be
deposited to the credit of the General Fund of the City of
Little Rock.
