1306RESOLUTION NO. 1306 WHEREAS, The City of Little Rock; was, due to financial conditions beyond its control, in such straits' financially, that it seemed necessary for the employees of .said city to accept cite warrants in payment of salaries for their services for part of the month of October and for November and December, 1933, and; WHEREAS, This financial condition of the city was placed before some of the most -ublic spirited citizens of Little Rock with an appeal for their help, and; WHEREAS, Answering said appeal the following citizens of Little Rock have ?greed to assist in financing the payrolls of said city employees, to -wit: H. T. (7'ill) Terry. The Gus Blass Company. Pfeifer Bros. Arkansaw 7rater Company. Arkansas Power and Light Company. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY T:.E CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK; That the sincere thanks and appreciation of the individual members of the City Council, the City Council and all employees of the City of Little Rock are hereby extended to the above named individual and f"irms for their splendid act of citizenship and cooperation in assist- ing in the financing of the payrolls and bills of the City of Little Rock for the remainder of the period of 1933, and nL IT FURTHER RESOLVED That the City Clerk is hereby directed to spread a copy of this resolution upon the permanent records of the City Council and he is further directed to send a copy of this resolution to the public spirited citizens named herein.
