PULASKI COUNTY CIRCUIT /COUNTY CLERK Fees $20.00 1 RESOLUTION NO. 13,521 2 3 A RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS THE WILLINGNESS OF THE CITY 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO COMMIT LOCAL MATCH FUNDING FOR THE FEDERAL AID PROJECT, GEYER SPRINGS RAIL SEPARATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. o°005OCU� l� WHEREAS, The Geyer Springs Road Railroad Crossing is one of the at -grade railroad ** �-r/ I,N locations set as Regional Priorities of the Metroplan 2020 Plan for rail grade separation; and, WHEREAS, Metroplan requests a commitment from the City for funding the local share of the project costs for the 2013 -2016 Transportation Improvement Program and for the City to have the project ready for obligation with the specified time frames; and, WHEREAS, each project phase will be funded as follows: .,.u... , ­­­6 ,a ucyrrsueru urr <r,e pru./ecteu avauaoutry oJ 31rJunas and total project cost. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY 18 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 19 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all appropriate agreements committing 20 the City of Little Rock to fund the local share of the project in the fiscal years indicated in the above table. 21 Section 2. The City Manager or his designee pledges full support to make the project ready for 22 obligation within the specified time frames. 23 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or 25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and 26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 27 resolution. 28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with 29 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency. 30 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
