RESOLUTION NO. 13,488
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH OLIVER'S CUSTOM ROOFING, LLC, FOR
THE ROOF REPAIRS OF FIRE STATION NO. 10; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bid #12223 was issued for the roof repair of Fire Station No. 10 because the roof has
become prone to leaks; and,
WHEREAS, the most responsible and responsive bids for such roof work was received from
Oliver's Custom Roofing, LLC, in the amount of Eighty -Seven Thousand, Eight Hundred Forty-Six
Dollars ($87,846.00) for the Fire Station No. 10 Roof Repairs plus tax, plus 15% contingency, for a total
of One Hundred One Thousand, Twenty -Two Dollars ($101,022.00) plus tax;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Oliver's Custom
Roofing, LLC, in the amount of Eighty -Seven Thousand, Eight Hundred Forty-Six Dollars ($87,846.00)
for the Fire Station No. 10 Roof Repairs plus tax, plus 15% contingency, for a total of One Hundred One
Thousand, Twenty Two - Dollars ($101,022.00) plus tax.
Section 2. Funding for this purchase will be from Account #108409- S40A002.
Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
