RESOLUTION NO. 13,487
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH FRALEY ROOFING FOR THE RE-
ROOFING OF THE COMMUNICATIONS BUILDING AND CITY HALL
GARAGE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bid #12211 was issued for the re- roofing of a portion of the Communication Buildings
and the City Hall Garage to replace the old roofs that have become prone to leaks; and,
WHEREAS, the most responsible and responsive bids for such roof work was received from Fraley
Roofing, in the amount of Forty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000.00) for the City Hall Garage Roof And
Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) for the Communications Building Roof plus tax, plus 10%
contingency, for a total of Eighty -Five Thousand, Eight Hundred Dollars ($85,800.00) plus tax;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Fraley Roofing, in the
amount of Forty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($48,000.00) for the City Hall Garage Roof and Thirty
Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) for the Communications Building Roof plus tax, plus 10% contingency,
for a total of Eighty -Five Thousand, Eight Hundred Dollars ($85,800.00) plus tax.
Section 2. Funding for this purchase will be from Account #108409- S40A002.
Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
