3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH COMMERCIAL AIR, INC., TO PROVIDE
5 HVAC CONTROL REPAIRS ON AN AS- NEEDED BASIS; AND FOR
6 OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. C12003, was issued to provide
9 HVAC control repairs on an hourly basis as needed, and Commercial Air, Inc., submitted the only
10 quotation at Eighty Dollars ($80.00) per hour labor and manufacturer's published list price for parts,
11 multiplied by .375 %; and
12 WHEREAS, the initial term of the contract will be one (1) -year and may be extended for an
13 additional two (2), one (1) -year periods, upon agreement of the parties;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
17 Commercial Air, Inc., to provide HVAC control repairs on an hourly basis as needed, at the rate of Eighty
18 Dollars ($80.00) per hour labor and parts at manufacturer's published list price multiplied by .375 %, with
19 the initial term of the contract being one (1) -year from date of award, which may be extended for an
20 additional two (2), one (1) -year periods upon agreement of the parties.
21 Section 2. Funds are available from Building Services Operating Budget.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
28 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
