3 A RESOLUTION TO SET MAY 1, 2012, AS THE DATE OF HEARING ON
4 THE PETITION TO RESCIND THE DENIAL OF A REQUEST TO
5 APPROVE A SPECIAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A GROUP HOME ON
6 THE R -2 ZONED PROPERTY AT 102 BROOKSIDE DRIVE (Z- 8735);
7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk for the rescission of the Planning
10 Commission's action in denying a request to approve a Special Use Permit to allow a group home on the
11 R -2, Single- Family District, zoned property at 102 Brookside Drive, pursuant to its general police power
12 authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104, in the City of Little Rock.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the resolution to rescind the denial of a request to approve a Special Use
16 Permit to allow a group home on the R -2 zoned property at 102 Brookside Drive, shall be held at a
17 meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock
18 on the I` day of May, 2012.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
20 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
21 County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
