RESOLUTION NO. 13,481
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR BEECHWOOD
DRAINAGE CHANNEL IMPROVEMENTS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for Beechwood Drainage Channel Improvements, Bid #2012 -219;
and,
WHEREAS, Redstone Construction Group, Inc., submitted the lowest responsible bid, in the amount
of $146,956.80, ($122,464.00 plus 20% contingencies);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Redstone
Construction Group, Inc. for construction of Beechwood Drainage Channel Improvements, Bid #2012-
219, in the amount of One Hundred Forty-Six Thousand, Nine Hundred Fifty -Six and 80/100 Dollars
($146,956.80), or One Hundred Twenty -Two Thousand, Four Hundred Sixty -Four Dollars ($122,464.00)
plus 20% contingencies.
Section 2. Funding for this project is from 2012 % -cent Capital Sales Tax Project Funds (Res.
13,442).
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with
the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
