134471 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 RESOLUTION NO. 13,447 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH SUNBELT FIRE FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) PUMPER TRUCK FOR THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT, UTILIZING THE HOUSTON - GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL COOPERATIVE CONTRACT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Little Rock Fire Department needs to replace aging, frontline fire units; and, WHEREAS, the staff of Fleet Services and the Fire Department recommend the purchase of one (1) pumper truck, at a cost of Four Hundred Fifty -One Thousand Dollars ($451,000.00), utilizing the Houston - Galveston Area Council Cooperative Contract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with Sunbelt Fire for the purchase of one (1) pumper truck, utilizing the Houston - Galveston Area Council Cooperative Contract, for the total amount of Four Hundred Fifty -One Thousand Dollars ($451,000.00). Section 2. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the 3/8¢ Capital Sales Tax. Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
