3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK. RESOLUTION NO.
4 13,416 -A (JANUARY 3, 2012) TO AUTHORIZE THE PROVISION FOR
5 AN OPTION TO RENEW THE ANNUAL PURCHASE CONTRACT
6 WITH TRUCK COMPONENT SERVICES EACH YEAR FOR UP TO
7 TWO (2) ADDITIONAL YEARS UPON AGREEMENT OF THE
8 PARTIES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, on January 3, 2012, the Board of Directors adopted Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No.
11 13,416 -A to authorize the City Manager to enter into an annual purchase contract with Truck Component
12 Services for the purchase of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for Tennant Equipment in the
13 City's fleet, with the annual purchase contract not to exceed One Hundred Twenty -Five Thousand Dollars
14 ($125,000.00);
15 WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend Resolution 13,416 -A to provide the option to renew the
16 annual purchase contract each year for up to two (2) additional years upon the agreement of the City and
17 Truck Component Services;
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
19 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
20 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby amends Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 13,416 -A

(January 3, 2012) to authorize provision for the option to renew the annual contract each year for up to
two (2) additional years upon the agreement of the City and Truck Component Services.
Section 2. Funds for this purpose are allocated in the 2012 Parts Budget.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, particularly Little Rock,
Ark., Resolution No. 13,416 -A (January 3, 2012), that are inconsistent with the provisions of this
resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
