3 A RESOLUTION TO SET FEBRUARY 21, 2012, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON TWO (2) UTILITY
5 AND DRAINAGE EASEMENTS, LOCATED WITHIN LOT H -3A,
6 RIVERDALE ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF LITLE ROCK,
7 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
10 vacate and abandon two (2) utility and drainage easements located within Lot H -3A, Riverdale Addition,
11 in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann.
12 § 14 -54 -104.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned utility and drainage
16 easements shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board
17 Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 21" day of February, 2012.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
19 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
20 County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
