3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN ANNUAL PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH TRUCK
5 COMPONENT SERVICES FOR THE PURCHASE OF ORIGINAL
6 EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER (OEM) PARTS FOR TENNANT
7 EQUIPMENT IN THE CITY'S FLEET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for the annual purchasing contract to provide OEM
10 parts for Tennant equipment in the City's Fleet, and Truck Component Services submitted the most
11 responsive and responsible bid; and
12 WHEREAS, the annual purchase contract will not exceed One Hundred Twenty -Five Thousand
13 Dollars ($125,000.00);
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual
17 purchasing contract with Truck Component Services for the purchase of OEM parts for Tennant
18 equipment in the City's fleet, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty -Five Thousand Dollars
19 ($125,000.00).
20 Section 2. Funds for this purpose are allocated in the 2012 Parts Budget.
21 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
22 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
23 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
24 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
25 resolution.
26 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
27 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
