3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO AN ANNUAL PURCHASE CONTRACT WITH MID -SOUTH
5 SALES FOR THE PURCHASE OF OIL AND LUBRICANTS FOR THE
6 CITY'S FLEET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid was issued for the annual purchasing contract for the purchase of
9 oils and lubricants for the City's fleet, and Mid -South Sales submitted the only bid which was received;
10 and,
11 WHEREAS, the annual purchase contract will not exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars
12 ($100,000.00);
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into an annual
16 purchasing contract with Mid -South Sales for the purchase of oil and lubricants for the City's fleet, in an
17 amount not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00).
18 Section 2. Funds for this purpose are allocated in the 2012 Parts Budget.
19 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
20 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
21 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
22 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
23 resolution.
24 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
25 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
