WHEREAS, as a part of the annual plan which must be submitted to the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development ( "HUD ") by November 15, 2011, the City must suggest the source of uses of certain funds to be received from HUD, and WHEREAS, consistent with the City's Citizen Participation plan, the Consolidated Planning Committee has recommended the sources and uses of 2012 HUD entitlement funds which are anticipated to total Two Million, Seven Hundred Sixty -Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Nine Dollars ($2,766,709.00), and Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($400,000.00) projected program income, for a total expected amount of Three Million, One Hundred Sixty -Six Thousand, Seven Hundred Nine Dollars ($3,166,709; and WHEREAS, two (2) public hearings have been conducted in order to assure the maximum citizen input possible; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board recommends submission of the following projected uses of an anticipated One Million, Six Hundred Five Thousand, Five Hundred Sixty -Eight Dollars ($1,605,568.00) in Community Development Block Grant Funds: (A) Owner- Occupied Rehabilitation $ 604,835 (B) Carelink -Meals on Wheels $ 60,000 (C) World Changers $ 50,000 (D) Land Bank $ 150,000 (E) John Barrow Senior Activity Center $ 22,711 (F) Wheelchair ramps $ 20,000 (G) Delta Presents Outreach Foundation, Inc. The Board recommends submission of the following projected uses of an anticipated Three Hundred Nineteen Thousand, Five Hundred Ninety Dollars ($319,590.00) in Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Funds: (A) Housing Assistance and Related Supportive Services $ 287,631 (B) Project Sponsors Administration $ 22,371 (C) Grantee Administration 9,588 TOTAL $ 319,590 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances and resolutions are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
