133451 2 RESOLUTION NO. 13,345 3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AN EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY BE- 4 TWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AND THE LITTLE 5 ROCK FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE NO. 17; AND FOR 6 OTHER PURPOSES. 7 8 WHEREAS, the City owns approximately 0.23 acres (10,136.43 square feet) of property located 9 in the 1700 Block of East 2 "d Street; and to WHEREAS, the Little Rock Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 17 ( "FOP ") owns approximate - 11 ly 0.23 acres (10,105.01 square feet) of property located in the 1700 Block of East 2nd Street; and 12 WHEREAS, in order to configure the subject properties to be congruent with the parties' exist - 13 ing property and to assist in expanding development capacity, the City and the FOP desire to deed the 14 0.23 acres the FOP owns in the 1700 Block of East 2nd Street to the City in return for the City's deed of 15 the 0.23 acres the City owns in the same Block to the FOP; and 16 WHEREAS, the FOP has duly authorized its President and Secretary to deed the 0.23 acres the 17 FOP owns in the 1700 Block of East 2nd Street to the City in return for the City's deed of the 0.23 acres 18 the City owns in the same Block to the FOP. 19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF 20 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: 21 Section 1. The Mayor, City Manager, and City Clerk, are authorized to execute any necessary doc- 22 uments with the FOP to exchange the following described property located in the 1700 Block of East 2nd 23 Street to the FOP for certain property also located in the 1700 Block of East 2 n Street: 24 25 Lot 6, Block B, Fletcher and Clark Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. 26 27 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or 28 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adju- 29 dication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and ef- 30 fect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the 31 resolution. 32 Section 3. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with 33 the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
