3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 2, 2011, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A TEN (10) -FOOT WIDE UTILITY
5 AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT, LOCATED ALONG THE SOUTH
6 PERIMETER OF PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS LOT 34, EXCEPT THE
7 WEST EIGHTY (80) FEET THEREOF, SPRING VALLEY MANOR
8 SUBDIVISION (G -24 -035), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE, ARKANSAS; AND
9 FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

11 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
12 vacate and abandon a ten (10) -foot wide utility and drainage easement, located along the South perimeter
13 of property described as Lot 34, except the West eighty (80) feet thereof, Spring Valley Manor
14 Subdivision, in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to its general police power authority under
15 Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned easement shall be held at a
meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock
on the 2nd day of August, 2011.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
