133231 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 RESOLUTION NO. 13,323 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH METI INCORPORATED IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY -TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED EIGHT DOLLARS ($52,508.00) FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE METIMAN PATIENT SIMULATOR FOR USE BY METROPOLITAN EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, the Little Rock City Manager's Office/Emergency Management Division is committed to improving emergency medical response throughout the City; and WHEREAS, in order to accomplish this goal, the City Manager's Office /Emergency Management Division proposes the purchase of one METIman emergency medical patient simulator for use by Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services; and WHEREAS, Bid #11216 was issued and the lowest responsible and responsive bid was received from METI Incorporated, in the amount of Fifty -Two Thousand, Five Hundred Eight Dollars ($52,508.00); NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with METI Incorporated, for the purchase of one METIman patient simulator in the amount of Fifty -Two Thousand, Five Hundred Eight Dollars ($52,508.00); Section 2. Funding for this purchase will be provided through the State Homeland Security Grant Program with no fiscal impact on the City of Little Rock. Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the resolution. Section 4. Repealer.
