RESOLUTION NO. 13,297
A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH PIERCE CONSTRUCTION, INC., TO
PROVIDE HVAC REPAIRS ON AN AS- NEEDED BASIS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. C1019, was issued to provide
HVAC repairs on an hourly basis as needed, and Pierce Construction, Inc., submitted the lowest quotation
at $60.00 per hour for labor; and
WHEREAS, the initial term of the contract will be one (1) -year and may be extended for an
additional two (2), one (1) -year periods, upon agreement of the parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
Pierce Construction, Inc., to provide HVAC repairs on an hourly basis as needed, at the rate of $60.00 per
hour labor, with the initial term of the contract being one (1) -year from date of award, which may be
extended for an additional two (2), one (1) -year periods upon agreement of the parties.
Section 2. Funds are available from Building Services Operating Budget.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
