3 A RESOLUTION TO SET APRIL 5, 2011, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON EASEMENTS WITHIN THE AREA
5 OF THE PREVIOUSLY ABANDONED, ALLEY RIGHT -OF -WAY
6 LOCATED IN BLOCK 17, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE, ARKANSAS;
7 AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
10 vacate and abandon a portion of the easements retained within the area of the alley right -of -way located in
11 Block 17, Original City of Little Rock, which was abandoned by Ordinance No. 20,249, on April 20,
12 2010, pursuant to its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. § 14 -54 -104.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1.. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned easements shall be held at
16 a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
17 o'clock on the 5`h day of April, 2011.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
19 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
20 County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
