3 A RESOLUTION TO SET MARCH 1, 2011, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON THE NORTH /SOUTH TEN (10)-
5 FOOT WIDE ALLEY RIGHT -OF -WAY LOCATED WITHIN BLOCK 282,
6 ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
7 PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of
10 Directors vacate and abandon the North/South ten (10) -foot wide alley right -of -way located
11 within Block 282, Original City of Little Rock, pursuant to its general police power authority
12 under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above- mentioned right -of -way shall
16 be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of
17 City Hall at six o'clock on the 1St day of March, 2011.
18 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner
19 prescribed by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper
20 published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Little
21 Rock.
