3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
4 CONTRACT WITH ROYAL OVERHEAD DOOR, INC., TO PROVIDE
5 OVERHEAD DOOR REPAIRS ON AN AS- NEEDED BASIS; AND FOR OTHER
6 PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, an invitation to bid on an annual contract, under Bid No. C1001, was issued to provide
9 overhead door repairs on an hourly basis as needed, and Royal Overhead Door, Inc., submitted the lowest
10 quotation at $40.00 per hour labor; and
11 WHEREAS, the initial term of the contract will be one (1) -year and may be extended for an
12 additional two (2), one (1) -year periods, upon agreement of the parties;
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
14 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
16 Royal Overhead Door, Inc. to provide overhead door repairs on an hourly basis as needed, at the rate of
17 $40.00 per hour labor, with the initial term of the contract being one (1) -year from date of award, which
18 may be extended for an additional two (2), one (1) -year periods upon agreement of the parties.
19 Section 2. Funds are available from Building Services Operating Budget.
20 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
21 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
22 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
23 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
24 resolution.

Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
